Green Waves is an environmental science podcast dedicated to providing listeners with a deeper understanding of the important environmental challenges impacting South Florida, and how individuals in these communities can get involved to help. Episodes feature leading researchers, educators, innovators, and community leaders and offer a unique platform to promote local organizations and volunteer opportunities. This podcast is a joint project between WVUM 90.5fm, the University of Miami's radio station, and the UM Student Governments sustainability committee, ECO Agency. Green Waves is authored and produced by its host, Ryan McMullen, and releases new episodes every Thursday from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm live on WVUM 90.5fm streamable on the radio (in Miami-Dade County) or our live stream at wvum.org/listen.
