Papa previously hosted his own show on KNBR from 2001-2003. Papa will host the weekday 10am-2pm time slot alongside Greg Silver. Upon joining the 49ers earlier this year, Papa became the first Bay Area broadcaster to have a role with five of the regions major professional teams. He previously served as the voice of the Warriors (TV & radio 1986-97), Giants (TV & radio 2004-08), Oakland As (TV 1990-2003) and Oakland Raiders (radio 1997-2017). Papa currently hosts NBC Sports Bay Areas San Francisco Giants and Golden State Warriors Pregame Live and Postgame Live shows.
