Peace Tribe Rising

Peace Tribe Rising

Author: Matt Lakenbach

Peace Tribe Rising is all about empowering the peacemakers and people who are committed to living together in peace. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict can be viewed as a battle between two tribes with competing religious, national, and historical narratives and identities. We are empowering a new, shared identity: the Peace Tribe. Together, we are unfolding a future of reconciliation, peace and human rights for all the people of the holy land. We come from a wide range of backgrounds: Israelis and Palestinians, Jews, Muslims and Christians, and supporters of all stripes, colors and creeds, in the Middle East, the United States, and around the world. PTR is a project of the Middle East Peace Civic Forum, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. www.mepcf.org

Episode 18
Tuesday, 22 April, 2025

Nimrod-Avraham May is an Israeli entrepreneur who created the God's Gang cartoon, which brings together five special characters: a Jew, a Muslim, a Christian, a Hindu, and a Buddhist. Together, they go on adventures and save the day while promoting cooperation and sharing their wisdom with their audience. In this episode, co-hosts Jess Bryan and Matt Lakenbach, of the Middle East Peace Civic Forum, discuss with Nimrod-Avraham how to blend spirituality and entrepreneurialism in service of peace and harmony in the human family.
