In this episode, Maia is joined by her fellow Chinese adoptees Ashley, Jaiden and Katie, who go way back as they were raised in an orphanage together for almost a year, before being brought to Canada in 2001 by their adoptive families. Together, the four of them discuss their individual struggles with identity and whether reuniting with their birth parents is something that they would like to do.
