The sermon centers on the rebuilding of the temple foundation in Ezra 3:8–13, portraying it as a profound foreshadowing of Christ's redemptive work, where God's presence is not confined to physical structures but is fulfilled in Jesus, the true Temple and foundation of all life with God.
