Our guest Jonah lays out a pretty compelling background to the cult ties and connections with white supremacy and right-wing ideology of the attackers, suggesting they did not act as a "lone wolf" as so often reported, instead highlighting the potential role of organized white supremacy or the police. We explore the remarkable case of Michael Reinoehl as emblematic of this. One simple thing is clear: Right-wing violence is ignored, while even tangentially left-wing violence is hyper focused upon, giving the veneer of parity between such attacks or to give the appearance of a left-wing siege—either way it's time to stop being epic online about these events and get serious.
