Episode 291 - The Last Meal of Your Trip! The Last Meal of Your Trip! Hey everyone, I'm Mike, she's Sophie, that's Brenda, and he's Grogu, and We're On the Road with Mickey! This is episode 291, and our feature topic this week is The Last Meal of Your Trip! Today's episode is the start of a small series we call "Saving the Best for Last", where we share those things that we want to do at the end of our trip that will carry us forward until the next time we visit Walt Disney World. This week, we're taking a look at The Last Meal of Your Trip! Here's what we talked about: Cheddar from the Big Cheese: Brenda: For the 14th year, the Cinderella Castle Gingerbread Display has returned to the Contemporary Resort. This display is 17 feet tall and 25 feet wide, and even features the iconic Castle Dream Lights! Mike: Of course, last week, the 18th was the birthday of Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse! They turned 97 years old and haven’t aged a bit! Sophie: The beauty and majesty of the Christmas season is in full display at Walt Disney World! Did you know that there are hundreds of Christmas trees throughout the resort, and that 20 of those are at least 15’ tall and higher? Quick trivia: Can you name the tallest tree at Walt Disney World? It is 70’ tall, and it is located at the Contemporary Resort! Connect with us! Mickey and Minnie are ice skating.” Cathy said “I have a large table displaying Disney holiday figurines and a tree devoted to Star Wars.” Debbie said “Gift Wrapping paper or Disney bags. My tree is almost all Disney.” Donna said “I have a Disney tree and also a snowman tree.” Karrie said “Our entire Christmas tree is Disney themed; We also have a Disney Christmas village” Chandler said “Ornament Exchange with my Disney community” and he also shared a link to relaxing Disney Christmas music. Chrissy said “I make Mickey ornaments and have a countdown calendar” Sheila said “We have a bunch of Disney Ornaments” Kim said “Ornaments and small decorations” Dale said “Ornaments” Paula said “Many many many ornaments and decorations ” Feature Topic: Saving the Best for Last: The Last Meal of your Trip! Fish & Chips, Music, Gers Bread and Butter Bread Pudding Sophie: Depending on when I need to leave by:- If I leave early in the morning, I need a reservation restaurant like Tony’s at Magic Kingdom - Fettuccine Alfredo to take leftovers back to the room- If I leave later in the day, I want breakfast at the resorts, probably a skyliner station.
