The People's Podcast

Discussions and reviews of Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Teen Wolf and sometimes other geeky stuff.

Author: The People's Podcast

John and Kate talk about their favourite shows Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and Teen Wolf. Sometimes we talk about other geeky stuff. Discussions may take unexpected turns. Explicit language because we're Australian and that's how we roll.

Game of Thrones 502: The House of Black and White
Friday, 2 October, 2015

We're back for another episode and the ghost of past Lannister deeds is giving Cersei cause for concern when she receives a thinly veiled threat from Dorne. Someone is out for revenge after Oberyn's gruesome demise last season. Cersei tries to cement power as temporary Hand of the King, but her uncle is having none of it, winning a prize from your hosts. We disapprove of a first-past-the-post voting system at the Wall, but are nevertheless satisfied with its outcome. The Brienne and Podrick Show reaches some truly comical heights when Podrick tries to ride a horse at faster than a trot. Across the Narrow Sea, Arya finally gets to the place we've all known she's been going for the past 3 seasons, but it seems that getting in is another matter entirely. Tyrion and Varys are on the road to Mereen and while Tyrion might have lost everything else, he hasn't lost his sense of humour. Your hosts discuss the wisdom of Daenerys decision to punish Mossador terminally for his murder of the captured Son of the Harpy. As a review of an episode of Game of Thrones, of course this podcast contains spoilers.
