American Civil War & UK HistoryAuthor: Daz / Darren Rawlings
**American Civil War & UK History Podcast**The podcast was born on December 26th, 2020, and I have always been passionate about history from a young age. My interest in the American Civil War began in 2004 after watching the movie *Gettysburg*. Since then, my passion for this topic has only grown. Although I don't live in America and cannot easily access the Civil War battlefields, I reside in the beautiful county of Kent, known as the Garden of England. Kent has a rich history, which has also fueled my fascination with UK history. This inspired the name of my podcast, *American Civil War & UK History*.While I have a general love for all history, I realized I had confined myself to specific topics. To expand my discussions, I created two other podcasts in 2024: *For the Passion of History*, where I explore various historical subjects that interest me, and *The Figures of the American Civil War*, focusing on the remarkable individuals of that period. The goal of my platforms is to share my passion for history with like-minded individuals.
