Currently, the world is watching in horror as terrible events unfold in Ukraine, but today we are bringing attention to another humanitarian crisis. In an episode recorded a few weeks ago, Tigaru activist Mahder Tella sat down to educate me about the ongoing atrocities being committed against her people in the country of Ethiopia.We release this episode #callitagenocide on the weekend that marks 500 days of genocide against the people of Tigray at the hands of the Ethiopian government. Mahder and her community have been tirelessly working to bring attention to the displacement that the World Health Organization has labeled as "traumatizing" and "dire".
