Episode 3 - Teaming for Technology on E-Waste and Startup Weekend

Talking with Al Reynolds of Teaming for Technology about what to do with your used computer equipment. Al discusses, "What happens to e-waste and why does it matter? " Yes, some is refurbished. However, only a small percentage is recycled. Even when we take it to a recycling center, we have no guarantee that it is actually recycled – not in the way most of us think of recycling. Much ends up creating toxic waste problems with serious environmental consequences. Together, we are planning a StartUp NC Weekend in Raleigh to explore ideas for better T4T processes, new products, or technology services. Our StartUp Weekend is focused on entrepreneurial opportunities in the e-waste sector. Dates: September 26-28 in Raleigh, NC, sponsored by T4T and StepUp Entrepreneurship.
