139: When Napoleon Bonaparte Met Joséphine de Beauharnais
Wednesday, 11 February, 2026
“I don’t love you an atom; on the contrary, I detest you. You are a good-for-nothing, very ungraceful, very tactless…You never write me; you don’t care for your husband,” wrote Napoleon Bonaparte to his wife, Josephine, in 1796. Let’s find out…About Significant LoversSignificant Lovers is a true-love podcast exploring couples throughout history and pop culture, hosted by cousins Kelly Anderson, Melissa Duffy, and Kaitlyn Anderson.
