Can Manual Therapy Be Done Without Thinking?
Monday, 6 November, 2023

In today's episode, I wanted to talk about what is going through my head during manual therapy. I discovered this week that there are differing opinions about what should be going through a person's head now that we know manual therapy techniques aren't specific to anatomical structures and in many cases aren't impacting the tissue in the way that we once thought. I want to say that this could be an entire course. My focus in this Thoughtlight was to give a brief overview of what may be going through my head just during the treatment phase of a visit during the application of a manual therapy technique. As I say toward the end: thinking never stops. It doesn't start during manual therapy and it doesn't end there, either.Check out courses at The Movement Brainery and join us in our free Facebook group, Mindful Clinicians Join our FB Group Mindful CliniciansCheck out our course offerings (both in-person and online)Follow The Movement Brainery on IG and FB
