In this episode we'll be discussing issues related to love and acceptance as a transgender individual living in SA. Even though the South African constitution is the first in the world to expressly forbid discrimination on grounds of gender or sexual orientation it does not explicitly prohibit discrimination against people who are transgender. And such discrimination is rife. But what about issues where people will mask their prejudice as preference? And what about those who choose to specifically engage in romantic relationships with trans individuals in order to "carry out an experiment"?
