Hannah Walker & Rhian Edwards - The Norwich Poetry Club #5
Thursday, 17 June, 2010

The Norwich Poetry Club presents two poets with warm centres and chilly edges: Rhian Edwards – Bridgend Rhian’s debut collection Parade the Fib (tall-lighthouse, 2008) was awarded the Poetry Book Society pamphlet choice for autumn 2008. Rhian Edwards is a poet and singer-song writer and her poetry reflects her entanglement with musical rhythm. Since 2003 she has since delivered over 200 stage, radio and festival performances world-wide. Her poems bristle with sensual wit, chronicling relationships young and old, personal portraits and the minutiae of life as we live it. & Hannah Walker - Norwich Hannah Walker was long listed for the Bridport prize 2006 & 2009. Her acerbic, cerebral poems have been published in New Writer, Fuselit, Iota, The Ugly Tree and Nth Position. She has curated a range of literature events in Newcastle and Norwich and is currently working towards a first collection called You Interrupt My Brain Sweetheart and a live show about apology called This is Just To Say. _____________________________________
