This is my 1st podcast where I as a cosmetologist am speaking on issues that I see in the hair salon among young black women. Hair care is my passion and it hurts me to see young women with bald spots, breakage, thinning and on some hair line completely gone. Some of these issues of hair loss are 100% preventable. Meaning it was self inflicted of inflicted from someone else performing the hair service on you. The hair loss is caused by excessive tension from braids, glue, and lack of proper hygiene of the scalp. Let's love the hair God gave us and take care of What God gave us. Thank You for listening.
