"Are we only going to take gambles on leaders who won't take a risk, or are we willing to let people be brave and dare to do hard things for our community?"What does love have to do with leadership? For Rebecca Fishman Lipsey, president and CEO of The Miami Foundation, it's the whole job.In this Season 4 opener of Miami Lead, we sit down with the leader behind Give Miami Day, the 24-hour giving event that grew from $1 million in 2012 to $43.8 million, with 120,000 donations supporting 1,400 nonprofits. Rebecca shares how Miami went from some of the lowest giving rates in the country to hosting one of the biggest giving days in the nation, and why she believes "big things don't happen from one hero working by themselves."
