Welcome to From The Old You To The New You Podcast. This is a recovery life coaching podcast that is all about helping people that are living in the past to let go of the past, learn and recover from their past mistakes, healing, and move forward to the present, and the future. This podcast is all about letting go of the past you in order to become the new version of you. A lot of people like to use the prefix RE with a word which means doing things repeatedly, or over and over again until you get it right. Whereas the word new means doing something either in a different way, or in a way that youve never done before. So you have to decide whether you want to re- something, or newly something when it comes to the things that you are choosing to do, or embark on. a lot of people choose to remain in the past, doing things the same way that theyve been doing it for years, not trying to change as far as growing, evolving, elevating, or maturing. And then there are other people who every day are doing things in a new way, learning from their mistakes, growing, evolving, elevating, and maturing into a new and better version of themselves. So this is all about asking the viewers out there, whether you want to continue living, thinking, and remaining in the past version of yourself, or do you want to do things in a new, better, and different type of way than what you are use or accustomed to. And if you were emailing me your stories that you would like for me to talk about, or any questions that yo

Episode 41 - Why You Should Not Edit or Cover Your Life?
Wednesday, 10 December, 2025

In this episode, I discussed why you shouldn’t edit your life or cover up your past mistakes and experiences. By covering up the real version of yourself, you’re not being the honest with yourself when it comes to the real version of you. If you have to cover up the real version of you because you worried about what other people don’t think, feel, and have to say about you. The one thing about editing is you’re not learning from what you did wrong and correcting what you did wrong to a certain extent. because when you edit out your mistakes, you don’t learn from them. By leaving your mistakes and, you’re able to correct it and learn from it to grow, elevate, evolve, ensure, and show a journey of how far you came. How can you show how people how far you came with all your mistakes are covered up. And this is why I don’t cover up my mistakes, cause I want people to see the real version of me versus everybody else’s version of me. So I hope this short podcast, helps you guys on your journey of healing, recovery, and addiction when it comes to healing from.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-old-you-vs-the-new-you-podcast--5273633/support.
