PMOS: how the new draft NICE guideline could transform diagnosis and care
Tuesday, 28 July, 2026

In this episode we explore the draft NICE guideline for PMOS (formerly known as PCOS), out for public consultation until 11 August 2026. We're joined by guideline committee members Aled Rees, professor of endocrinology at Cardiff University, and Sharon Manship, a lay member with lived experience of PMOS. Together they discuss how the recent name change, a new annual review, and a stronger focus on earlier diagnosis could transform care for the estimated 1 in 8 women living with the condition.
