This is a recording of lecture 1 of the Shenandoah University PA507 Neuroscience course taught by Dr. Thomas Turner in the Summer2 2012 semester. This first lecture gives a basic overview of the nervous system. Topics include the impact of the nervous system on behavior, the functions of the nervous system, and anatomical structures of the CNS and PNS.
