Ms. Cortes is the current President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Tampa Bay and has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources and Marketing with coarse knowledge in market penetration. She is the Founder and President of Acumen Strategist, a marketing and staffing firm. Through the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Tampa Bay, successfully designed and introduced 4 new programs: "Empresario Emprendedor" Business Grants, "Adelante" Scholarships, "Prestigio Hispano" (Hispanic Prestige) Awards, and "PRAXIS" Business Development Assistance. Introduced Chamber Business Podcast, implemented a new Membership platform including training the Board of Directors and Members of The Chamber. The introduction of Digital Marketing strategies, social media development, re-design, new website design, SEO, newsletter, build relationships with press and solidarize relationships with local and international influencers, to strengthen the Chamber's reputation and validate our intention and influence power.
