Show NotesToday we are fortunate to be talking with, John Lenneman and Josh Domeyer from Toyota’s Collaborative Safety Research Center.John Lenneman is a Senior Principal Research Scientist at Toyota’s Collaborative Safety Research Center and has over 25 years of human factors experience. He has worked in automotive, consumer products, and health and wellness. Before Toyota, he worked at General Motors R&D, and Newell Brands. John holds a Ph.D. in Applied Experimental Psychology from Central Michigan University and a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan He has authored numerous publications and book chapters and holds over 20 patents. His work spans driver behavior, vehicle automation, advanced driver assistance systems, human-centered design, and health and wellness program development Josh Domeyer is a Principal Scientist and has worked at Toyota for 14 years. Before that, he conducted research in both academic and industrial settings. Josh has Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s in Experimental Psychology from Central Michigan University. He has over 50 peer reviewed publications and conference proceedings and over 20 patents. His work applies advanced computational techniques to risky driving behavior and naturalistic use of driving automation.
