Season 10 Episode 3: Emo Dad talks to As It IsMatt and James are buzzing to bring you a truly special interview with the lovely lads from British-American rock band As It Is.We had an absolute blast chatting with them and, in true Emo Dad interview fashion, there are plenty of laughs, a few distractions, and the kind of questions most “proper” interviewers are too scared to ask. We dive into the bands they were in before As It Is, how the band first came together, and those early years on the grind. We also talk about their ‘large’ and ever-growing fanbase, and how they went from playing tiny rooms to tearing it up on the Warped Tour in no time at all.We get into style changes, the tougher moments along the way, and how they’ve been enjoying working on new material — with a new album dropping this summer.Then things get a little niche. We chat about the band training for the Brighton Marathon in aid of the brilliant Mind charity.
