Through the words of Jesus, we discover that it’s possible to be busy serving, doing good things, and even welcoming Jesus into our lives—while becoming distracted from Jesus Himself.Martha was serving Jesus, but her service had become anxiety, frustration, and resentment. Mary chose to sit at Jesus’ feet and listen. Jesus called what she chose the “good portion.”This message explores what it means to slow down, pay attention to what is happening within us, and remember that our identity isn't found in what we accomplish for God.
