Hey guys, sorry for the delay, but Phil and I are back. We are continuing the China Series with an amazing guest for this week in Political Science Professor Matthew Fuhrmann of Texas A&M. In this episode; we talk with Professor Fuhrmann about his studies into the fulfillment of alliances in the modern and post-modern age and the impact of nuclear weapons on alliance signaling, as well as topics which include U.S. positions with allies near and in the South China Sea and the U.S. position on Taiwan. In addition to being a current Political Science Professor at TAMU, Professor Fuhrmann is the co-author with Professor Todd Sechser of the book Nuclear Weapons and Coercive Diplomacy, has held various faculty positions such as at Stanford University's Center for International Security and Cooperation as a Visiting Associate Professor, and has been a Stanton Nuclear Security Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and a Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow at Harvard University's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. Prof. Fuhrmann was an amazing guest, and we hope you all enjoy this very informative episode.
