Connecting with others and gaining knowledge from peoples stories of triumph out of challenge. Im a first generation immigrant from Peru, a country that at the time was unsettled as a result of the Shining Path terrorist group. I moved from a place of disadvantage to becoming an athlete, combat veteran, and successful executive. I had an opportunity to see perspectives from different cultures and learned that the American dream is real. I am a product of family, friends, my community, and personal experiences. It is my wish to share stories of lessons learned from a variety of diverse backgrounds. I hope you will be both entertained and inspired.
