In this episode Ann and Gail discuss how we as a society handle kids in the world. As we all know, children are a part of our lives (whether we have them or not), and how we as adults handle our encounters with young ones can have real impact on parents and caregivers. We discuss when and how to intervene if a child we don't know is acting out or if they are in an unsafe situation. We also talk about how interaction with kids is different now than it was during Gail's childhood. And, as often is the case in life, my youngest had to be with me during the recording, so he can be heard in the background. It might be a bit distracting, but you will get a chuckle out of his antics.
