In Episode 155 Kvothe plays a trick and a song at the Eolian. But the reaction is not what he hoped for, perhaps affecting hs ability to collect coin from the wealthy establishment there. To make matters worse, Kvothe has been poisoned, causing him to bungle his admissions and achieve his worst tuition yet! Even after he has collected his various moneys from his artificing, and playing tips, his purse is still a bit light, so back to Devi he must go. And the Fingers are here for it! We cover this series spoiler-free in the main section, but Devi After Dark is our chance to dive into the wilder speculation about these books, at the end of each episode.
