In the first episode of Black Girls Research Too, host Lauren Blossom discusses the results of her Doctoral Thesis Equivalency Project. This research examined factors that contribute to Black women's participation in Black community activism efforts and groups and how their possible experiences with microaggressions within these groups impact their mental well-being. This research was completed under the supervision of Dr. Marlene Williams at Texas Woman's University.
