Renew Lehigh Valley partnered with the Lehigh Valley Research Consortium (LVRC) for the first annual State of the Lehigh Valley event. Unvailing the LVRC's report State of the Lehigh Valley: Community Trends at a Glance was Michele Deegan, director of the LVRC. She was joined by an expert panel including Easton Mayor Salvatore Panto, Jr. (moderator), Don Bernhard (PPL), Chris Borick (Muhlenberg College), Bonnie Coyle (St. Luke's Hospital), and Olga Negron (Lehigh Valley Council of Spanish Speaking Organizations). The event was held at Iacocca Hall, Lehigh University Mountaintop Campus on January 13, 2011 in front of an audience of over 200 people.
