Send us a textBeing able to set boundaries with your parents is a hurdle for most people. Whether it is the holidays, traveling, bed time routines, etc. it can get tricky to set hard boundaries with your parents. We discuss how saying the boundary aloud is more of a suggestion than a boundary. You have to make that next step to enforce the boundary before it is truly considered a boundary. There are multiple types of boundaries to be set with others and our guest, Alyssa, had to set the ultimate boundary, which was disinviting her mom from her wedding and not having a relationship with her afterwards. Unfortunately, not everyone is given healthy relationships with their family members and it is okay but it is hard to do and deal with.
