THERAPY FOR BLACK GIRLS: A directory of culturally competent therapist dedicated to the healing of Black women, a vibrant online community.BLACK FEMAL THERAPISTS: A platform connecting Black women with therapists who understand our unique experiences.THE LOVELAND FOUNDATION: Provides financial assistance to Black women seeking therapy. INCLUSIVE THERAPISTS: Offers a safe space to find therapists specializing in serving marginalized communities, including Black women. THE BODY KEEPS THE SCORE: by Dr. Bessel van der Kolk explores how trauma is stored in the body and impacts mental, emotional, and physical health. It emphasizes the importance of reconnecting with the body through practices like self awareness, movement, and self awareness to promote healing. For Black women, this work is particularly powerful in addressing the unique layers of generational, racial, and personal trauma they may carry.
