S03 E29 - We Import Blues from Canada
Episode 29
Friday, 28 August, 2026
This week, we look well ahead at the 50th James Dean Festival in Fairmount, Indiana (always the last full weekend in September). The president of the James Dean Museum—Christy Pulley Berry—gives us the history of both the museum and the festival. We're also joined by jazz and blues artist Jasmine Colette of Blue Moon Marquee. The duo had to miss last year's Muncie Three Trails Music Series, so she shares a primer before their visit. And we take you Behind the Song with live performances from local musicians Anna Owens and David Joel Weir.Oh, and it's our Assistant Producer Andrew Montavon's first time hosting!
