Improving Doctor/C-Suite Communication to Advance Patient Care

An indispensable pillar of leadership is strong communication, and effective communication with the c-suite is crucial for improving our environment at scale and building a thriving atmosphere for staff. This is especially true in healthcare when it comes to communicating with the C-Suite. George Mayzell, MD, MBA, joined our Healthcare Experience Matters Podcast this week to discuss how doctors can better communicate with the c-suite to improve patient care. We also discuss Dr. Mayzell’s personal leadership journey as a physician and what he has learned along the way. As a physician, chief medical officer, senior leader, and coach, Dr. Mayzell draws upon his extensive experience to help physicians communicate better and create meaningful improvements for the patients we serve. He is an integral member of the Healthcare Experience Foundation’s (HXF) coaching faculty.
