District 2 Sports had the pleasure of chatting with Emory and Henry Men's basketball Head Coach, Jimmy Allen. The guys discuss Coach Allen's background having played high school ball for the Legendary HC, Bill Pope at Northside in Roanoke. Coach Allen played college ball for the Wasps and had a successful playing career. Coach Allen then made the jump to coaching as an assistant before becoming head coach at Averett University in Danville. Coach Allen turned a down program into a winning program who made a few NCAA tournament appearances. Coach Allen made his was to West Point as an assistant at Army before becoming head coach. Coach Allen is now back at his former school and looking to take the Wasps back to the postseason.Leave us some praise, feedback, or shout into the void!Support the show
