Otaku Village Podcast Ep 13-What the Ads?
Episode 13
Monday, 28 September, 2026

On this episode of OVP, I’m keeping it pretty gaming-heavy. First I talk about the two games that have been taking up most of my time lately, Slay the Spire II and MTG Arena, and how I somehow ended up in a full-blown card-game phase. After that, I get into the whole Xbox cloud gaming ads situation and ask the real question: if the ads stay out of the actual gameplay, is it really that big of a deal? Then we finish with something every gamer probably understands — there are way too many games and nowhere near enough time to play them all. And with some serious games coming up, that problem is only about to get worse.
