Inside _shift is a special bonus series recorded at Space Group’s annual _shift conference. It’s an event that brings together industry leaders and “empowered agents of change” to talk about how we can decarbonise the built environment and push the industry forward. This year, I was lucky enough to chat with some of the speakers and panellists, getting to hear their ideas, stories, and insights first hand.In this episode, I’m joined by Andy Pag, eco-adventurer, award-winning freelance journalist and Corporate Speaker. Andy has a passion for sustainability and a love of alternative travel - including two years exploring the world in an old school bus powered entirely by used cooking oil. He’s turned unwanted materials into feats of engineering, led vehicle-based expeditions to remote corners of the globe, and experimented with innovative forms of travel, from a chocolate-powered lorry to the 'Grease to Greece' car rally.An engineer by training, Andy combines his adventurous spirit with storytelling, winning awards such as a Royal Television Society Award for Best Documentary and a Silver for Best Documentary in the PPI Radio Awards.
