The Invisible VoteUnheard Voices Amplified Author: ABF Creative
The Invisible Vote explores generational voting habits by capturing the perspectives of a multitude of people as they are put into conversation with one another about their voting habits, beliefs, and trust in electoral politics. With each person, topics surrounding voting are explored through conversations. These conversations amplify the voices of the unheard voters- whose voting power is widely discussed, but whose own voices are rarely heard in these discussions. Episode 4
Monday, 12 December, 2022
This episode of The Invisible Vote features a Conservative, Indian American and a Democratic, Chinese American who are both living the American dream but with completely different political viewpoints. Ray, 38, moved to the USA when he was 10-years old while Eric, 38, was born in the states. What are the core values and principles that define both of these individuals? Can a Conservative and Democrat come together to talk policy? Although they have different political views which are discussed at length, there is one value they both hold sacred, voting. In this episode, Eric and Ray start as strangers, discuss, debate our political landscape but both understand the value of voting for minorities in America and don’t take it for granted.
