Y'all... this episode is on fire! I absolutely adored getting to know Elizabeth Fuller, also known as @YourBaddieHairGirl, https://www.instagram.com/yourbaddiehairgirl/ and delving into her unique story. Our journey took us from her Florida roots, where she learned the art of braiding from her grandmother, igniting a career in hair that has now spanned 15 incredible years. We also dished about our experiences in beauty school – the good, the bad, and everything in between. I must admit, I'm a sucker for people who speak their minds and hold strong opinions, so hearing Liz's philosophies and her unfiltered candor was an absolute treat. Another thing that stands out to me is the while Liz and I share a Black mixed-race heritage, our experiences going ups were wild different. Proving once again that Black and Brown folks and how we identify are not a monolith! But I digress – Liz's dedication to sharing her knowledge with others speaks to my educator heart.
