369 - Liked vs Respected Blueprint

One of the most important lessons in business, leadership, relationships and life is understanding the difference between being liked and being respected. Some people spend their lives trying to keep everyone happy, only to find themselves overlooked, undervalued and taken for granted. Others command respect through high standards, discipline and results, but struggle to build genuine connection and trust. In this episode, I explore the three profiles we all recognise: the person who is liked but not respected, the person who is respected but not always liked, and the rare individual who manages to be both. We'll look at why most people naturally gravitate towards one end of the spectrum, the strengths and weaknesses of each approach, and how developing the missing skill set can transform your influence, relationships and leadership.
