Judges 16:23-31 // Bill GormanIn this sermon, we look at the final moments of Samson’s life within the temple of Dagon. We discuss the irony of the Philistines celebrating a victory they credited to a false god, while the true source of Samson’s power prepared for one final display of justice. We analyze the layout of the temple, the significance of the two central pillars, and Samson’s prayer for strength.
