The Groks Science Show from WHPK at the University of Chicago

Author: Groks WHPK

Groks is a word that means to perceive something so profoundly well that you understand it on an intuitive level. The word was coined by Robert A. Heinlein in the 1961 science-fiction novel Stranger in a Strange Land. The Groks Science Show was founded in 2002 by members of the Biological Sciences Division at the University of Chicago. Today the show is still graduate student-run & broadcasts out of the WHPK studios in a 100 year-old bell tower.
