I'm an entrepreneur and am fascinated with entrepreneurship. Even as a kid I enjoyed getting inside the mind of the entrepreneur and understanding how they tick. Entrepreneurs are a different breed - and I absolutely love it. I believe entrepreneurship is the greatest way to have an impact, have fun, and make money doing it. The Starting Point podcast was originally created to better understand how successful entrepreneurs think. I thoroughly enjoyed that. However, I enjoy being an entrepreneur better than interviewing entrepreneurs. A little history: In 1995 I was exposed to the Internet. It was a life-changing, goosebump moment for me. Since then I founded, built, and sold several innovative, award-winning companies in the Web 1 and Web 2 spaces. I followed the goosebumps. It was an incredible ride. And, I worked with the smartest, most amazing people along the way. In early 2020 I was exposed to crypto/Web 3.0. I instantly had those same goosebumps again. Wow, it felt like 1995 all over again. I believe the digital asset revolution created by Web 3 is the entrepreneurial opportunity and wealth generation opportunity of my lifetime - and I want to stand on the mountain top and shout about it. I also believe that my experiences from Web 1 and Web 2 give me a unique perspective on the opportunities. I think it will be valuable to share that perspective more broadly. As a result, The Starting Point podcast is relaunching and changing its focus to explore the possibilities of Web 3. I hope you enjoy it. I think you will! LFG!!
