Watch her Oscars performance of the song.Abigail took a moment to plug Billbuds, a pop music podcast with strong opinions about fadeouts at the end of songs.Barry compared Annie Lennox’s look to David Bowie’s, especially in the Let’s Dance music video.Barry plugged the music video for Who’s That Girl?Inspired by The First Cut, we went down a small rabbit hole exploring three different versions of The First Cut is the Deepest by Cat Stevens, Rod Stewart, and Sheryl Crow, respectively.Aqua reminded Barry of the sensory deprivation tanks in Altered States (1980).
