The Unsolved Murder of David Carter

On September 28, 2018, David Darnell Carter Sr. went to a high school football game to watch his teenage son play. A regular, ordinary evening spent supporting the family he adored. David was a devoted father, a hard worker at the Magna Seating Plant, and a well-loved presence in his Melvindale, Michigan community.When David failed to show up for work 2 days later or return calls over the next few days, his family knew something was wrong. Their worst fears were realized when his remains were discovered along Interstate 75 in Ohio. Investigators quickly identified a primary person of interest, his then-girlfriend Tamera, "Tammy" Williams. Who was briefly detained, but released pending further investigation.
