The Problems of Philosophy: Then & NowUniversity of Glasgow Author: University of Glasgow
2012 marks the 100th anniversary of Bertrand Russells The Problems of Philosophy. Envisioned by him as an introductory text, Russell also used the work to propose a number of novel theses which left an indelible mark on the development of analytic philosophy. This graduate conference at the University of Glasgow aimed to promote fresh engagement with the problems discussed by Russell, and to investigate the possibilities for useful dialogue between Russells approach to these issues and contemporary philosophy.
