Continuing my thoughts on Old Timey music - putting aside the banjo and fiddle and considering the unexpected, and exciting acapella singing of great performers like Roscoe Holcomb. American traditional music is incredibly varied both in its content and performance, and shares so much with the music of this side of the pond.
