Providing Hope for At-Risk Youth with Dan Rhoton

Breaking a cycle of any kind is difficult, let alone when that cycle is generational poverty. Providing money-earning opportunities for the young people stuck in cyclical poverty is a key step for providing hope for their future - and an incredible nonprofit in New Jersey is doing just that. In today’s episode, I am joined by Dan Rhoton who works for the New Jersey nonprofit organization, Hopeworks. Hopeworks provides a positive and peaceful atmosphere to provide young people the opportunities to break the cycle of violence and poverty. Dan and his team focus on technology, education, and entrepreneurship to connect young people to open work at businesses within the community. Throughout this episode, Dan talks about his journey to working with Hopeworks, how they work with New Jersey youth, his perspective on ending the cycle of poverty, and much more.
