The Handmaid's Tale vs The Color Purple
Monday, 20 January, 2020

In this new episode of the Plants R Friends podcast the listeners are encouraged to find a comfortable position, grab a cup of tea or coffee, and enjoy a relaxing story telling session, comparing two feminist award winning novels; The Handmaid's Tale written by Margaret Atwood and The Color Purple by Alice Walker.  The podcast will be divided into two segments, the first half  focuses on the analysis of The Handmaid's Tale through the Intersectional Feminism lens,  while the second will focus on The Color Purple analyzed through the intersectional Feminism lens too. At the end there will be an overview of each novel, and how they relate to the real world.
