Diane Kallay is a highly-regarded vocalist and staple of the Western New York music scene, originally hailing from East Lovejoy. Her national recognition includes opening for legendary acts such as Dave Mason, The Marshall Tucker Band, .38 Special, and Kim Mitchell at major local concert series like Artpark's "Tuesdays in the Park" and Buffalo Place's "Thursday at the Square." Her versatile musical style covers Pop, Blues, R&B, and Country music, earning her multiple awards across these categories. She was recognized as "Best Female Blues Vocalist" at the 2001 Buffalo Music Awards and, most recently, received the award for "Best Lead Blues Vocalist" at the 2024 Night Life Magazine Awards Show. After performing in Las Vegas and California, Diane returned to her hometown to continue her musical journey with The Diane Kallay Band. Her 2007 CD, Paisley Blues, showcases her powerful vocals backed by a "smoking" rhythm section and powerful horns featuring veterans of the Buffalo music scene. A long-time supporter of the community, she has performed at numerous benefits throughout her career. Diane visited the Flamingo Lounge on January 8, 2026 to talk about her music and we listened to a couple tunes off her CD "Paisley Blues"
